Skilled riggers are the backbone of live entertainment—requiring specialized training, technical expertise, and extensive experience. However, the shortage of trained riggers has forced local venues and events to seek help from outside Lane County. To address this challenge, Lane Workforce Partnership convened a coalition of committed partners, including: ?? Hult Center for the Performing Arts, City of Eugene ??? City of Eugene ?? Arts & Business Alliance of Eugene (ABAE) ??? Lane County Government ?? Travel Lane County Together, we’ve secured $30,000 in training materials to strengthen the entertainment union’s ability to train and equip local riggers.
