Nonprofit organizations are the unsung heroes of our communities. ? For decades, Defender has created legendary vehicles to take service workers on missions to help others, and for the past three years, it’s also been our mission to recognize these selfless organizations with the Defender Service Awards.?This year, we’re?awarding six customized?Defender 130 vehicles to six US, Puerto Rico and Canada nonprofits and charitable organizations that support their communities every day.?Category sponsors Disney, PELICAN, Hearts & Science and OUTSIDE Interactive Inc. will award $25,000 USD to their respective category winner and Chase, the presenting sponsor, will donate $5,000 to each of the 30 category finalists. To enter, organizations must submit a video up to three minutes long that describes your 501(c)(3) nonprofit or registered Canadian charity’s?work, explains what needs you address in your community and how a Defender 130 vehicle will help support your cause. Qualified judges appointed by Defender will select up to five finalists in each category, then voting will open for the public to choose the winning organizations. All of our dealerships across the Ken Garff Automotive Group participated in a special Drive Out Hunger We're Hear For You project this week!
