Three years ago, Landon Group met a group of dedicated staff and volunteers from Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center (MIWRC). They were committed to rehab their building to best serve their committee and fulfill their mission to empower native women and families to exercise their cultural values with integrity, and to achieve sustainable lifeways, while advocating for justice and equity. Last week, we assisted in the closing on the financing. The rehab has begun! It's been a journey. But the best projects always are. Honored to be invited to celebrate the completion of Calvary Apartments with the residents at their annual luncheon. For the last year, these folks have put up with a lot of construction in and around their units. The end result was a stalized building serving senior households at 30% ami and below. Last week we celebrated the completion of the Horizon Heights Townhomes rehabilitation in Burnsville with Christopher M. Cooper & Associates. Landon Group has been honored to be part of this project - making Horizon Heights once again a beautiful place for 25 families to call home. It's a great day for affordable housing! Landon Group is thrilled to be part of The Juniper development - which closed today! Soon there will be 65 units of affordable housing in Maplewood. After 5 long years, we have closed on the financing for The Juniper, a JB Vang Affordable Housing Development in Maplewood, MN. There will be a total of 65 units of which 27 units are Family Friendly (3 & 4 bedrooms) with rents ranging from 30% AMI to 60% AMI. We are grateful for our Partnership with; MHFA, Grow America, Ramsey County, Met Council and the City of Maplewood for making this project possible. We want to thank our project team members; UrbanWorks, Landon Group, Hust Law, Flannery Construction, Premier Property Management, Simpson Housing, and Braun Intertec for all your work on this. So proud of our JB Vang Team of Justin Fincher, Ashley Bisner and Cerena Vang for sticking with this vision and bringing it to closing... Can't wait to welcome families in July 2025...
