Land O'Lakes was represented by COO Brett Bruggeman at Transform Food & Agriculture 2024 hosted by Reuters Events. The event facilitated productive discussions on sustainable industry transformation, including a conversation on scaling solutions and partnerships with Brett and others. Collaboration was a key theme of the event. Our big takeaways for the industry as we collectively work to make progress: ? Focus on continuous improvement, not perfection. ? Partnerships are a must in order to scale #sustainability and reach goals. ? Meet growers where they are and come to the table with simple solutions that offer predictability. Exciting science happening in the Land O'Lakes, Inc. dairy food chemistry lab today! Even though Milk Replacer is under the Purina Mills, LLC Animal Nutrition business unit, it is a huge asset to be able to work cross-enterprise to build knowledge while we solve problems and advance our understanding of dairy science together! Making dairy foods and making milk replacer has a lot of similarity, so why not leverage that? #landolakes #milkreplacer #dairyscience Mark Anderson

During last year’s historic flooding in Tulare, California, Joseph Goni and his family were forced to herd their cows to safety in the middle of the night. This has been Giving Week at Land O'Lakes, Inc., where in addition to donating money directly to impactful organizations, employees have the chance to do all sorts of fun activities to raise funds. Our art contest inspired me to pull out my paper folding origami skills and build a geometric modular origami model showing that our organization is a complex woven intersection of different companies and brands that you know and I love. I designed and printed the paper with our major business unit logos and then set out to folding "Intersecting Cooperative", also featuring Truterra, LLC, Purina Mills, LLC, WinField United, and of course our famous logo found on our dairy and butter packaging in addition to the Land O'Lakes, Inc. "O'". Each company has its own distinct structure, but the model only holds together and stands upright when all the companies work together. I think it is the perfect way to visualize what a cooperative is. And, it was a fun way to participate and help raise funds.
