Had an incredible time speaking at Landmark Ventures CIO Summit last week on a panel focusing on the rapid evolution of AI/ML and the data-driven innovation that is transforming industries across the board. ? Alongside Kateau James (McKinsey & Co), BJ Vander Linden (The Larry H. Miller Company), John Napoli(Guardian Life) and Anthony Juliano (Landmark Ventures), we discussed key strategies to cut through the hype and harness the true power of AI to drive business outcomes. It was great to be able to share my experiences at Mastercard where we are using AI to herald a new era of commerce and innovation -- promising to transform customer experiences, enable personalized interactions and reshape industries.? ? I recently had the honor of participating in the Landmark Ventures CIO Summit, where I joined a panel alongside remarkable leaders Padma Elmgart, Hina Shamsi and Sara Dillon, for an important discussion on #womeninIT leadership. During the event, I shared a moment from early in my career when a former female colleague and I were the only women at a technology operations dinner with over 40 attendees. It was a clear reminder of how important it is to create more opportunities for #womenintech, and while we have made great progress, we still have a ways to go. Throughout the conversation with my fellow female IT executives, I emphasized the importance of having empathy, an open mind to consider new ways of thinking and providing clear communication within the workplace. By empowering our associates with a safe space to share their thoughts and ideas, we’ve created a culture at Bread Financial where everyone feels like they belong and contribute to our long-term success. When we prioritize belonging, we unlock the full potential of our teams, leading to a healthy work environment, increased innovation and strong performance.
