We are pleased to announce that Landmark Environmental, Inc. is welcoming Kalpesh (Kal) Patel as our new Senior Project Manager. Mr. Patel is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has led teams in conducting Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM) and Lead-Based Paint (LBP) surveys, as well as designing and monitoring major remediation projects for commercial, industrial, municipal, state, and federal properties. Mr. Patel has developed sampling strategies and exposure assessments for both environmental remediation and commercial environments. He has also conducted Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and mold investigations in the Rocky Mountain region. In his new role, Mr. Patel will be responsible for significant business development pursuits, maintaining client relationships, managing large complex projects, mentoring staff, and preparing and reviewing proposals and technical reports. Landmark Environmental, Inc. recently enjoyed hosting a group of high school students from Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK) at the historic Mighty Argo Mill and Tunnel in Idaho Springs, CO. During the visit, students delved into the rich history of the Argo, which served as a pivotal site during the Colorado gold rush era and is one of the world's largest, most well-preserved historic gold mills. Landmark's President, Matt Roberts, was pleased to join the students on the tour to share environmental perspectives on the mine's past.
