Our team analyzed the applications we sent for our US-based users in 2024, and the results are eye-opening: ?? The Response Rate Gap: Top 50 companies: 7.3% positive response rate Companies outside the top 50: 0.6% positive response rate Yes, you read that right—over a 12x difference in response rates. ??? Year-over-Year Trends: We don’t have as much data from 2023, but it seems the total response rate has decreased by roughly 40%. The job market is tougher, and standing out is harder than ever. More on this to come. ??? Notes on the Analysis: 1?? The response rate gap only accounts for companies that received a minimum of 50 applications. That is still a small sample size per company given such a low conversion rate. 2?? We focused on US-based users submitting applications to US jobs. 3?? 'Positive Response Rate' means companies reached out to schedule a live call (automated replies and one-sided interviews were excluded as well as possible). 4?? There’s a lot more we can analyze, and we’re excited to keep refining this data and sharing more anonymous nuggets. ??
