Last night, the Prince William County Board of County Supervisors unanimously approved Smith Crossing. This is the first application approved under the Prince William County 2040 Plan, which utilizes the conservation residential designation.?With 375 lots, this vibrant community will offer single-family homes and villas, a pool and clubhouse, a stream valley trail, walking paths and trails with trailheads and fitness stations, a community park and garden, a sport court, several playgrounds, and riparian reforestation areas. Working with a great team, including Stanley Martin Homes, TNT Environmental, Inc., Compton & Duling LC, and GOROVE SLADE, LDC is providing Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, Land Development Engineering, and Land Surveying for this project.

In honor of our ongoing commitment to supporting service members and their families, we are proud to support the Patriot Legacy Fund scholarship program, which assists the children of disabled veterans. This year’s recipient is pursuing studies in graphic design and business at Colorado State University. He credits his father with teaching him invaluable lessons in bravery, preparation, perseverance, and mindfulness—principles that guide his approach to both life and success.

LDC was proud to take part in the recent groundbreaking ceremony for MANASSAS ADVENTIST PREPARATORY SCHOOL. We are providing surveying and engineering services for the renovation of the gym and the construction of the new school building. Carlos Flores-Garay P.E. represented LDC with our partners, Tom Nicholson from Hammerhead Construction and John Heltzel from John F. Heltzel AIA, P.C. Architects.
