On November 7th, students in Mrs. Bard’s class participated in the Solanco HS “Day of Service”. High school students volunteered to spend the day with the MDS students. They did craft activities, played games, and read to the students. #WorkWorthDoing ??

School-To-Work at LVC recently visited local business Generation Dance in Myerstown, PA for some fun, history, fitness and their very own private dance class! The studio, located in an old sewing factory, welcomes dancers of all ages and experience levels. Their goal is to provide an environment which empowers students to learn, build self-esteem, confidence and have fun! Special thanks to owner Jennifer Firestine, who’s been dancing for 40+ years! ??#WorkWorthDoing

Students completed pouring, scooping, sensory exposures, and direction-following skills to see if they could make their pumpkins dance. Assisting with the project were Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and classroom staff. The students loved this project. #workworthdoing
