??Athlete Spot Light?? ?? Joshua Tavui ?? I think everyone should know how important the offseason is. Not only is it about developing physically and mentally, but it's about building good habits to be successful. I knew nothing about the (college football) recruiting side and I knew if I was going to put the work in at the weight room, in the classroom and on the field, I had to make sure i got the recognition from college coaches. During the off season I was able to train and travel with other players from all over the state. Traveling to California, Utah, Nevada and Oregon for school visits helped the most because I was able to see what it looked like, meet coaches, and compete against some of the best linemen in the nation. Just practicing with a business first attitude helped a lot and it all started with the environment I put myself into every day. Coach Bronson helped me understand a lot and knew how to push us the right way. Overall, he’s a real positive person who encourages us to develop into the best version of ourselves. He calls it, “handling our business,” everyone knows what he means when he says that. It's not always about football too, every day he reminds us all to be good sons, brothers, & teammates.
