In 2022,?Lamarr.AI, as part of the?Unified Retrofits?team—including?FLX Solutions, Inc., Gensler, and Skyline Capital Builders—was honored to be one of the three winners of the?U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s E-ROBOT Prize, securing 1/3 of the?$2 million award! The?E-ROBOT (Envelope Retrofit Opportunities for Building Optimization Technologies) Prize?was designed to advance robotic solutions that?streamline, scale, and enhance building retrofits, particularly for?energy efficiency improvements?in existing structures. Our team’s solution leveraged AI-driven robotics to?automate and accelerate retrofit processes, reducing labor costs, minimizing disruptions, and improving the overall performance of buildings.
