This morning, Lakewood City Council had the opportunity to meet with Colorado House Majority Leader Monica Duran and Representative Sheila Lieder to discuss the issues that matter most to our community. These partnerships are vital in ensuring that Lakewood’s voice is heard at the state level.

We’re thrilled to announce that Lakewood has secured a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy! ?? This funding will support the development of a new program aimed at boosting energy efficiency and cutting greenhouse gas emissions in our city’s largest buildings, and increasing our local workforce. ???? Yesterday, GFiber kicked off this exciting milestone with an ice cream party at The Ice Cream Farm in Belmar to celebrate the first customers going live in the Eiber neighborhood! ??
