A group of CAF athletes from US Paralympic Cycling and US Paralympic Track & Field attended a weekend camp at Lakeshore Foundation's Sports Science and Performance Center, where they were assessed and received nutritional, mental, and performance resources that they can apply in their training - including 3 months of additional virtual, personalized support from a team of sport science professionals. We're thrilled to see these athletes take the insights and data they've learned and apply them to their training, helping them reach their goals and unlock new levels of performance!

Thank you to UAB School of Optometry for providing free vision screenings to our members and staff yesterday! Regular vision screenings are vital to overall eye health and being able to provide these screenings to members on our campus is a great resource. President and CEO John D. Kemp and Chief Canine Officer Tune even stopped by to get their screenings!

Our Chief Research and Innovation Officer Amy Rauworth is at California State University, Northridge this week for the 2025 CSUN Assistive Technologies Conference, which explores the latest discoveries in technology and accessibility for people with disabilities. Our first 100th Anniversary Speaker Series event was a great success! Thank you to everyone who came out, and to Ethel Morgan Smith for sharing her knowledge and experiences surrounding civil rights. It was an extraordinary way to celebrate our community at Lakeshore and honor Black History Month. Ethel is a true embodiment of how powerful storytelling can be, and we're grateful she shared her stories with us.
