On Monday, our Director of Pharmacy, Christa Wilson, joined Sen. Felzkowski and Rep. Novak at a press event to support a groundbreaking bill aimed at regulating Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs)—the middlemen in the pharmaceutical industry. Alongside fellow advocates, Christa highlighted key provisions of the legislation that would protect health centers and organizations like LCHC from unfair contract terms imposed by PBMs. This bill is especially critical for organizations participating in the federal 340B program, which helps provide affordable medications to underserved communities. We’re proud to stand up for fair pharmacy practices and better access to healthcare for all!

She is actively working on her PhD while also overseeing an 11% increase in services in 2024.
