When analyzing the noise of a lock-in amplifier, it's important to understand 1/f noise and broadband noise and how they affect different frequency ranges. While operating at higher frequencies may seem preferable due to lower noise, depending on your measurement setup running at lower frequencies is actually the most advantageous. Access the webinar recording to see how we calculate noise: https://lnkd.in/ep3RhDi3 #Noise #lockinAmplifier #AdvancingResearch

Thank you to everyone who joined us for yesterday's presentation at the APS Global Physics Summit, by the American Physical Society. We are excited to host another presentation tomorrow on "Separating Density and Mobility Transients: Frequency-Multiplexed Hall Effect Method” at 9:48 a.m. PST (Session MAR-W20) in 254B (Level 2) of the convention center. This presentation relates to research co-authored by Northwestern University and ETH Zurich scientists. Also don't forget to visit us at Booth #549 to learn about our new DC + AC source measure unit, perfect for characterizing nanoscale and 2D nanomaterial semiconductors. Its enhanced sensitivity and simultaneous sourcing make it a game-changer for semiconductor I-V testing. Don’t miss it! #APSSummit25 #AdvancingScience

We are having a great time at the APS Global Physics Summit, hosted by the American Physical Society. Each year, we have the opportunity to connect with individuals who are passionate about advancing science. If you are attending, we are presenting today on "Reducing Common-Mode Artifacts in 2D Material Measurements” at 3:36 p.m. PST (Session MAR-N20) in 254B (Level 2) of the Anaheim Convention Center. ?? Also, don't forget to visit us at Booth #549 to learn about our next-generation cryogenic temperature controller with 400 W of control power and measurements down to 300 mK. The touchscreen interface ensures simple setup and monitoring, while the included ColdSync? software facilitates advanced setup, initial configuration, and comprehensive data monitoring. #APSSummit25 #AdvancingScience

Let's talk about cryogen-free cooling at the American Physical Society, APS Gobal Physics Summit (Booth 549) we will have a demonstration of our Infinite Helium—an automated solution that makes your LHe cryostat cryogen?free. Infinite Helium innovatively circulates helium in a closed loop, enabling your continuous flow cryostat to operate without constant helium replenishment. Designed with adaptability in mind, Infinite Helium seamlessly integrates with your existing or new continuous flow cryostats to enable cryogen-free operation. #AdvancingScience #CryogenFreeCooling #InfiniteHelium #Lhe #APSSummit25

We are thrilled to exhibit at the American Physical Society, APS Global Physics Summit. Come join us next week at Booth #549 to learn about our MeasureReady? M81-SSM synchronous source and measure system that integrates DC + AC sourcing and measurement into a modular, easy-to-use characterization platform. Plus, it features a new SMU module with lock-in detection capabilities. This module builds on the M81-SSM system's ultra-low noise sourcing and measuring technologies, conveniently integrating I/V and DC/AC sourcing and measuring in a single compact module. It provides DC current, DC voltage, AC current, AC voltage, lock-in, and resistance measurement capabilities. #APSSummit25 #AdvancingScience

Ground loops and imbalanced lead/contact resistance are common causes of noise interference in measurements. The M81-SSM combines the absolute precision of DC with the detection sensitivity of an AC lock-in. The system provides electrical measurements from DC to 100 kHz with sensitivity down to a noise floor of 3.2 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz. It features a flexible remote signal amplifier module architecture (1 to 6 channels) and is simpler to set up, configure, and operate than separate source and measure instruments. Enhance your measurement precision by overcoming common-mode noise interference.
