Last week, the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration Acting Administrator Veronica Vanterpool attended a roundtable discussion held at LACI to discuss the FTA's efforts to fund #zeroemission transportation, major infrastructure projects, and public transportation in Los Angeles and across the country. Administrator Vanterpool announced a full funding agreement of $893M for light rail in the San Fernando Valley! Big thanks to Eli Lipmen and Move LA for leading this excellent conversation. ???? Visiting Oslo with California Air Resources Board Chair Liane Randolph as part of a study tour for a California delegation lead by Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI). We visited a construction site located within a neighborhood that is using 100% zero emission equipment! The ZE equipment is either run by batteries that they charge in the evening or are plugged in. This site is clean, quiet, and completely electric! #ZE2028ROADMAP

This week members of our Transportation Electrification Partnership (TEP) are participating in a professional field study trip to Europe. Our delegation includes policymakers, industry leaders, and transportation experts, and they are stopping in London, Oslo, and Munich to meet with European counterparts to exchange ideas and study models for transportation electrification and zero-emissions goods movement. The delegation will share key learnings from our Zero Emissions 2028 Roadmap (#ZE2028Roadmap), which sets bold targets to accelerate transportation electrification and zero emissions goods movement by the time the world arrives in Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Collectively, TEP has committed to bold climate action and cleaner air not just for the Games, but to benefit all Angelenos–especially frontline communities–for decades to come.
