We were honored to host a vibrant Nowruz celebration, bringing together community leaders and dignitaries from across the region. The event was graced by the presence of several city mayors, council members, and Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris. A highlight of the evening was our annual tradition of inviting guests to dance on stage, which was met with enthusiasm and impressive moves from all participants! This year’s celebration not only marked the beginning of spring but also symbolized unity, hope, and cultural exchange. Yesterday, I attended the 2025 Festival as a new Board Advisor for OCIACC and LAIACC! Although it was my first “official” event as part of the Chamber’s board, Norooz Clinic has been a long-time member and friend of the Chamber. Norooz, also spelled Nowruz, is the Persian New Year and the first day of Spring. It marks a new day and a new beginning—our namesake, Norooz, comes from this very celebration. Therefore, being a part of OCIACC and of this celebration means a lot to us. The energy, people, and culture at the festival were truly amazing. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who visited the Norooz Clinic Foundation booth. Especially my amazing staff and interns for coming out on a Sunday to help with our booth and face painting. Congrats to OCIACC and LAIACC and Shani Moslehi for a hugely successful event. We appreciate everyone’s support and we wish you a Happy Persian New Year! ????
