Congrats to Class 127 of the Lafourche Sheriff’s Regional POST Training Academy! Thirty cadets from 14 agencies across Louisiana achieved their dream tonight of becoming peace officers. We appreciate their dedication to their communities!

In 2017, Congress designated October 28 as National #FirstRespondersDay to honor law enforcement officers, paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, and 911 operators who answer the call when others need help, often putting their own lives at risk. We invite everyone to thank a first responder in the comments.
