With a history in enology dating back to Pasteur’s seminal works, the LAFFORT group is proud to dedicate one of the largest budgets in the industry to research and development. Pruning, netting, picking, winemaking...? The works.? After a year of spending increasingly more of my free time doing this, I realized that people do this as a career.? So I went back to school for a second Bachelor’s degree, and ran with it????!? ? ? Where did you work before joining the LAFFORT USA team?? ??? I was at Aridus Wine Company in rural Southeastern Arizona.? It was an interesting challenge–very high elevation (5100 ft), hot climate, and harvest coincides with monsoon season??.? ?? ? What is your most memorable bottle of wine?? ??? This changes for me daily.? Today, it’s Belle Blanc from Acquiesce that I would have had back in 2014?? Because of that wine, I’m enamored of Rh?ne white blends, and order them at any opportunity??.? ? ? What is your favorite LAFFORT product and why?? ??? I really like the QUERTANIN??range.? It’s like adding that little extra punctuation that brings all the other elements into relief!? I loved using?QUERTANIN??Intense on Petite Sirah??.? ? ?
