Road & Bridge Maintenance (4.47 mills) – Supports repaving, bridge repairs & road projects. ?? Public Health Millage (3.81 mills) – Funds mosquito control, animal shelter, drainage, fire protection, health unit, coroner, and roads & bridges. Lafayette Consolidated Government marked the official opening of the newest Adopt-A-Stop bus shelter at Autumnwood Place, made possible through the support of Autumnwood Place and the 24 Hour Citizen Project. Initiated in 2018 by City Councilwoman Liz Webb Hebert, the Adopt-A-Stop program continues to enhance Lafayette’s transit experience through public-private partnerships. This latest addition provides a safer, more comfortable stop for transit riders in the community.

Graham Brown Memorial Park is officially open! Community members and elected officials gathered Thursday afternoon to celebrate the grand re-opening of Graham Brown Memorial Park. This $16.3 million transformation includes: ?Four tournament-level baseball/softball fields ??New LED lighting ???New concession building & bleachers with canopies ??Expanded walking paths & lighting ??Expanded dog park for large & small dogs ??New basketball court, two playgrounds & pavilions ??Expanded parking lot & more!
