I had a wonderful time at the LAESA-SHPE 40th anniversary Gala Banquet. We had LAESA members spanning from the 1980s through the present. The turn out and energy level was amazing. I was so happy to see so many familiar and new faces as La Familia continues to grow, expand and improve. The board did a great job with the planning, promoting and executing the event. Yanil Rosario thank you for being the mastermind pushing this through and really driving towards greater heights. I was moved by the inspiring speeches from our founding father, Juan Segura, and Alex Ortiz, PE, CEM. They demonstrated how we started from the bottom and why we are still here 40 years later. As I was surrounded by the the many current and future professionals that the organization has helped, myself included, I can only think of myself as blessed to be part of it. I encourage all members to continue to be involve and give back to the community as the members before us have done. Being part of LAESA really helped me through school all while giving me many life long friends. It will take many more years to pay back for that gift. Thank you to the sponsors and to everyone who were able to attend in person and virtually. Grateful to have taken part of CCNY ADPR’s New York Football Giants marketing communications and research project. On Monday, I had the pleasure of presenting along my team to the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium. Taking part in this experience has been an incredible opportunity, one that I couldn’t have accomplished without my phenomenal team. I am thankful to professor Javier O. Garcia, MPS for acknowledging my love for Formula 1 and Sports Marketing and nominating me to be part of this experience. Thank you professors, John Totaro, Edward Keller, and Javier O. Garcia, MPS for your guidance and support throughout this process and beyond. Thank you Alex Casola and the New York Football Giants marketing team for your efforts, encouragement, kind words, and warm welcome. From evaluating best practices across different sport leagues to enhance connections with diverse audiences and expand the fan base to researching marketing activations and sponsorship integrations, l've learned so much and will carry these skills, insights, and connections with me forever. I am thrill to see what’s next in my future in the sports marketing field! We did it!!! ????

?? Inspiring Futures at the 29th Pre-College Engineering Day (PCED) 2024! ?? Friday April 5th, we celebrated an extraordinary day of discovery and inspiration at The City College of New York with our 29th annual Pre-College Engineering Day (PCED). It was an incredible opportunity for high school students to immerse themselves in the world of engineering. The day was packed with activities including tours of our advanced engineering labs at CCNY Grove School of Engineering. Students experienced the forefront of engineering innovation and saw where tomorrow’s engineers are being groomed today. The labs provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with learning and exploration. Enriching workshops were led by industry leaders from National Grid, Con Edison, Turner Construction Company, Harry's Inc., Sodexo, Bank of America, Accenture, and STEM Institute at CCNY. These sessions were not only informative but also designed to spark curiosity and passion for the engineering field. ?? We were also honored to have Zahira Perez as our keynote speaker. Zahira’s engaging and profound message highlighted the essential roles of perseverance and passion in engineering, resonating deeply with the students and all present. Thank you, Zahira, for your inspiring words and for being such a pivotal part of PCED 2024. A special shout-out to our director Mariel Firpo Aracena and co-director Jose Armando Keppis. Your dedication and hard work in putting together this event are truly commendable. Your efforts continue to open doors for students and create pathways to success in engineering. ?? As we reflect on another successful year of PCED, we are invigorated by the enthusiasm and potential of the next generation of engineers.
