An essential part of our mission to inspire the conservation of native plants is always looking ahead, imagining ways to create a more resilient future. For your daily dose of hope, look no further than the university students who spent this summer working alongside our staff at the Wildflower Center. Gaining hands-on experience in science, conservation, horticulture and education, they added a variety of skills to their toolbelt, taking part in: ?? Plant and native species identification ?? Ecological sampling ?? Seed collection procedures ?? And more! The future of conservation is bright with young minds like these headed into the world. The Wildflower Center is #hiring! We're seeking a full-time Director of Finance who will be responsible for leading and managing all financial activities, including annual budgets, monthly financial reporting, and accounting. This role will work closely with the leadership team to develop programs in support of the Center's mission and revenue goals. In addition, they will interface with colleagues in finance, HR and IT, overseeing payroll and vendor contracts.
