Right in our own backyard!
Congratulations to the beautiful City of Los Angeles Wilmington!!! I took my family and fur babies to check out this moment in history, and right in our own backyard. This was a beautiful grand opening to highlight collaboration and the resiliency of a community. I witnessed a beautiful ceremony that paid homage and honored the ancestral lands of the Tongva people, as well as highlighted the care and support of this waterfront community by combining form and function in our public spaces. It was great to see my very own LADWP News in the house, being a ally and partner in helping this project be a suceess! The Wilmington Waterfront project is a $77.3 Million project that created unprecedented public access to Water’s Edge for the Wilmington Community. Yay, go City of Wilmington!!!
