It was a pleasure to participate in the Houston Area Women's Center event at Sunday Press. It was more than just a small gathering; it was a powerful reminder of the strength that emerges when we unite for a cause. At Ladies Turn Global, we are always committed to supporting initiatives that champion safety, advocate for victims, and inspire positive change. Every woman deserves to feel safe and respected, and we believe that raising awareness is the first step toward creating a world where every woman can thrive without fear or judgment. I'm incredibly proud to see one of the teens that Ladies Turn Global supports through our Youth Program, Mujtaba, achieve something truly inspiring. Mujtaba is a role model student, and witnessing his accomplishments is so rewarding for all of us. He genuinely cares about his peers and is a shining example of how teens can navigate the challenges of high school, take on new responsibilities as they transition into adulthood, prepare for a career, and balance time with family and friends. Mujtaba understands how overwhelming this journey can be for young people and the mental health struggles that often come with it. Yesterday, he took a significant step by proclaiming October 15th as Teen Mental Health Awareness Day in Las Vegas. This is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder of him! We were happy to support LADIES TURN GLOBAL new project - the Twin Health & Welness Center - which will provide discounted medical care to underserved communities in the DFW area, along with a variety of affordable ancillary services, and many free essential needs services. It was great having Don Steeves share what B10 ENERGY does to lower the significant tax burdens of the builders, creators, and innovators around us. The energy in the room was palpable as we exchanged ideas and built new relationships that I'm sure will flourish in the coming months. ??Celebrating Friendship and Advocac?? This week, we had the incredible pleasure of coming together to celebrate Raven's birthday surrounded by an amazing community of friends and supporters. Amidst the festivities, we engaged in meaningful conversations about pressing issues that demand our attention and action. Roxana Valeton Denise Nolan @kenhamelphoto ?????? One critical topic that resonated deeply with us was the ongoing crisis of human trafficking, women abuse, and the alarming increase in cases of rape. These are issues that continue to afflict our society, and it's imperative that we unite to combat them.
