In the United States, new parents often face a difficult choice: Return to work too soon or risk financial instability. With short, unpaid leaves that rarely include both parents, the options are...well, not ideal. The truth employers need to hear? Paid maternity and paternity leave are essential. Parental support is crucial for breastfeeding success and family well-being after birth. When working parents receive the time and support they need, they return to work more focused and engaged. Paid leave not only benefits employees — it also boosts retention and overall well-being, making it a win-win for both employers and families. Supporting parents with paid leave isn’t just a smart decision — it’s the right one. And it’s time every employer offered it. Connecting families with insurance-covered International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs).
关于我们
We believe that every family deserves expert lactation care. We know that 84% of moms in the U.S. begin breastfeeding at birth—but only 26% are still exclusively breastfeeding when their babies are six months old. Many families struggle to find the resources, support, and advice they need to thrive. And whether it’s a mom’s first baby or her fourth, hearing that she’s doing it right from an expert is priceless. Our 5-star patient care team works around-the-clock to verify insurance benefits and connect families with international board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLCs). Consultants then conduct private visits (in-person or telehealth), answering questions and troubleshooting breastfeeding issues like latching, milk supply, pumping, painful breastfeeding, and more. As the largest network of IBCLCs in the nation, we're changing the standard of care in women's health one family at a time.

The United States is the only developed nation without mandated paid maternity leave (you read that right). That’s why it’s so important to understand your options so you can plan accordingly for your family's health and financial well-being. We made room at the table! Last week,?it was our absolute honor to host postpartum families for a beautiful lunch at?Girl and the Goat?to celebrate the launch of our Room at the Table initiative. This event was the perfect reminder of why inclusive spaces are *so* important — families don’t just deserve them, they need them! We got to witness firsthand the impact of good conversation and food shared among people in the same season of life, and how welcoming, supportive spaces make those types of connections possible. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special afternoon, and?@girl.and.the.goat?for both hosting and participating in our Room at the Table initiative.

Full bellies, full hearts ?? Room at the Table is helping breastfeeding families find safe places where they are welcome to feed and be fed. We’re helping participating restaurants learn how to accommodate breastfeeding families and ensure they have everything they need for a comfortable dining experience — from offering hot water to warm up a bottle or ice to keep pumped milk cold. Because sometimes it’s the little things that make a world of difference. Restaurateurs: Want to make room at the table for everyone? Join the initiative here: https://lnkd.in/gmYhTu7d

We connect families with the highest-quality lactation care. But we’re not stopping there. We know part of advocating for families’ holistic well-being means supporting breastfeeding families to experience connection outside their homes — and we’re doing that one restaurant at a time through our initiative, Room at the Table. Visit tln.care/roomatthetable for more information and a list of 50+ participating restaurants nationwide that are helping make dining out more inclusive for families.

Introducing Room at the Table, a collaborative initiative that’s creating inclusive spaces for nursing families and normalizing breastfeeding in public. While parents have the right to breastfeed in public, they still encounter judgment and hostility. Together, we can change that. Over 50 restaurants around the country have joined the program so far. To signal their support, they put a “Breastfeeding Friendly Space” sticker on their windows. This sticker represents their ongoing commitment to fostering an inviting space that’s attentive to the unique needs of postpartum families. To learn more, visit: tln.care/roomatthetable

Prenatal care encompasses everything you do before your baby arrives to ensure a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery, and postpartum preparedness. That means regular doctor checkups to monitor your vitals and baby’s growth, discussing diet and exercise best practices, learning about birthing options, and understanding how to nourish your newborn. That’s why having a team of experts to navigate this vital time is key — from your doctor to a lactation consultant. When you work with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, you can ask questions, ease any concerns, and learn the breastfeeding basics so you can feed your baby with confidence when the time comes.
