Last week, the #LACountyBOS Executive Office welcomed back Bryant T. Marks, Ph.D., for a second training about implicit bias in the workplace. Through the training, Dr. Marks shared an overview of implicit bias research and shared practical tools to mitigate biases in crucial processes like application and hiring. Dr. Marks is the founder and Chief Equity Officer of the National Training Institute on Race & Equity, as well as a professor at @Morehouse College. He is a distinguished minister, researcher, and former member of the Obama Administration. The training supports the values of #LACounty’s Anti-Racism, Diversity, & Inclusion (ARDI) Initiative, which guides the County’s ongoing commitment to fighting racism in all its dimensions.
