We extend our heartfelt and deepest sympathies to communities and those affected by the raging wildfires in southern California. Over the past week, we have witnessed unprecedented loss of life, destruction of livelihoods and property in communities we have worked in and hold dear. We've also witnessed incredible resilience and strength from first responders, neighbors, volunteers and businesses. Although the impact of these wildfires is far reaching and profound, we are steadfast in the belief that communities will build stronger with access to the right resources. Thrilled with how the new New York City showroom of Grace Loves Lace turned out. We at Ascot negotiated a creative deal to move them from their prior location in Soho to a brand-new built to suit space in Tribeca. We have no doubt they'll be happy there for a long time. I recently visited our Miller Digital Media client, Pure Glow?, at their stunning new Boston Seaport location and was blown away. Designed by Heitler Houstoun Architects, the space combines luxury design with cutting-edge airbrush tanning technology. Their organic, fragrance-free formula delivers the most natural, long-lasting glow—I expected it to be great, but the experience completely exceeded my expectations. Recently we kicked off construction on a project that has been several years in the making... We'd like to introduce ShareNYC, a small-scale development project with Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation and NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. We see this project as an opportunity to showcase how we can sustainably add much needed affordable housing units to NYC's housing stock by re-utilizing and adapting existing buildings. In addition to that, this project presents an opportunity to pioneering a path for the legalization of shared housing in NYC. Our vision for Share NYC is to transform the existing three-story residential building into a highly livable shared housing development that provides tenants a safe, comfortable, and affordable place to live. By using an existing building with a modified shared housing building code, the project can be built at lower costs than traditional new construction units. Additionally, the #AdaptiveReuse of the building, helps maintain the neighborhood fabric and avoids disruptive large-scale development.
