Lacamas Laboratories manufactures and delivers high quality products at the best price possible, on time every time. Our product list includes pharmaceutical intermediates such as Diboc (di-tert-butyl dicarbonate) as well as fine chemicals to customers outside the pharma industry. Lacamas Laboratories products are made at our plant located in Portland, Oregon on a scale that suits your needs. We can produce anything from quantities as small as 15 kgs needed for early clinical trials, to the many tons required for a full commercial launch. Lacamas Laboratories commitment to quality production standards is evident in all our production processes and laboratory procedures, from raw material procurement and testing, to the development and implementation of production and laboratory standard operating procedures, to final product testing.

Lacamas Laboratories Purchases Albany Fine Chemicals Facility Lacamas Laboratories Inc. acquired the Albany, Oregon Fine chemical Facility previously owned by W. R. Grace Inc. on December 31, 2024.?The acquisition of this site, formerly announced to close by W. R. Grace, will result in the retention of many sustainable salaried jobs in Oregon. The facility was owned and operated by Grace from 2010 through 2024 and prior, to 2010, was the headquarters of Synthetech, a small, publicly held company. Dr. Allen Erickson, CEO and owner of Lacamas Laboratories, commented, “This acquisition significantly increases Lacamas’ capacity to manufacture high-quality chemical products.?We are proud to bring the Albany team into the Lacamas family. Albany has great people, and it is an excellent facility.?This plant will give us additional resources to service our pharmaceutical and defense industry customers.?The Albany facility is a world class manufacturing plant which has a history of supplying the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industry.” Lacamas Laboratories is a fine chemical company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Products include pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates, as well as critical defense chemicals. In 2023, Lacamas was awarded an 86-million-dollar contract to develop processes and build a plant to manufacture seven chemical precursors required for US national defense.
