Laberge Group had our own SOUPerBOWL last week. Voluntarily drafted staff members brought in 6 different soups to share. All staff voted on the best tasting and most original soups. Our SOUPerBOWL winners were Ray (best tasting) lasagna soup garnished with a spoonful of fresh ricotta, and Jenn (most original) cioppino aka fisherman’s stew - the secret is a touch of dry vermouth. Ray wishes to thank his wife for the recipe, and Jenn is thankful that others enjoyed her cooking! Congratulations to our 2025 SOUPerBOWL champs!

Funding Friday: Congratulations to the Town of Pound Ridge for securing more than $7.6 million in NY Water Infrastructure Improvement Act (WIIA) grant funding. With the support of New York State, this new infrastructure system will protect public safety by eliminating reliance on individual wells and on-site contaminant treatment system. These funds will support the creation of a new drinking water system within the hamlet of Scott’s Corner in order to address the public health threat associated with contamination found in private water wells, including but not limited to Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), Tetrachloroethylene (PCE), and Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE). “The WIIA funding allows Pound Ridge to safeguard the health of all who live and visit our business district while protecting the investments made to ensure a thriving business district. This project will also assist our property and business owners who depend on clean water to serve our community.
