Kicked off 2025 with a bang by heading to #CES2025 to meet with media and check out the latest and greatest in electronics. Some things that stood out: *AI Beyond the Hype. After the hype of 2024, this year’s CES was about driving AI to everyday life. Wearables and agentic AI – or smart assistants – took center stage, showcasing how AI will help us in the future. *Smart Appliances Get Smarter. TechCrunch predicted a new wave of smart home devices at CES, with gadgets that promise to make cooking and cleaning easier than ever. * Matter for the Masses. As in recent years, the Matter standard got buzz heading out of CES, including the launch of the a Matter-enabled smart thermostat from Honeywell Home for under $80. A few days in Vegas surrounded by innovation has us excited for a great year!
