"Whoa, we're half way there..." ?? ? What was once a peach orchard on West Campus is becoming a hub for health education and innovation. Yesterday, our campus leaders along with Virtua Health leaders, state and local officials, students and community members came together to mark the ceremonial halfway point in the construction of the future home of the New Jersey’s first veterinary school — the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University —and the Virtua Health College of Medicine & Life Sciences of Rowan University Research Center.

We are very proud to recognize LF Driscoll Labor Foreman, Troy Pinkett for this quarter’s Quality Employee Award. We may never know the impact that we have on others when we do good things. Quality minded people do good things simply because it’s the right thing to do. Doing the right thing every day is the quality mindset of Troy, currently overseeing the Swarthmore College Kohlberg project. Troy joined the Laborers’ Local 332 in 1996. Starting at LFD in 2018 he worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Core Project. He describes the experience as one of his all-time favorite jobs because of the nature of the work and the team that he was a part of. Troy’s inherent nature to help others rose to the top once again when he was recently called upon after hours (twice no less) on a Friday night and a Saturday morning, to assist with clearing some equipment for a weekend event at Swarthmore College.
