During last week's National APEX Accelerator Alliance (NAPEX) Fall 2024 Conference, Kentucky APEX Accelerator Executive Director Nancy Brown co-presented a training session on Mentor-Protégé Programs offered through the Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Nancy's portion of the presentation focused on how the DOD Mentor-Protégé Program operates and how APEX Accelerators can support involvement in this program by both small and large businesses. The session's audience included APEX Accelerator staff from across the country who were gathered in Washington, D.C. for the NAPEX Fall 2024 Conference. The Kentucky APEX Accelerator team had a great time attending the National APEX Accelerator Alliance (NAPEX) Fall 2024 Conference in Washington, D.C. last week! This annual conference provides valuable professional development and technical training for our team members related to the government contracting assistance we provide to our clients. It is also an opportunity to network with fellow APEX Accelerator professionals, government agency representatives and other key resource partners from across the country. All eight of our team members from across the Commonwealth attended this year's fall conference. In addition to the excellent training provided by NAPEX, we also took the opportunity to gather for team-building activities every evening after conference sessions concluded. We look forward to carrying back the knowledge and expertise we gained during our week in D.C. and putting it to work to provide excellent assistance to our clients in the realm of government contracting and subcontracting!
