Welcome to KW San Antonio, Yi Z.! With a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, Yi kick-started her career in Nashville and recently moved to San Antonio to join KW as a Project Coordinator. In her role, Yi nurtures client relationships, conceptualizes their visions, and works closely with her team to ensure projects stay on track. When asked about our vision of Building the Exceptional Together, Yi shared “The first word that comes to mind is teamwork. While teamwork is common in our field, it’s not always done efficiently or productively. This vision also reflects ambition and confidence, which makes me excited and eager to see the chemical reactions we can create together.” In her free time, Yi can be found hiking at national and state parks, camping with her husband, or playing small ball sports like badminton, pickleball, tennis, or table tennis!

Welcome back to KW San Antonio, Luke D. Anderson! During his time serving our country in the U.S. Coast Guard, Luke ended up in Seattle where he discovered a wild fusion of culture and nature. His love of public art and environmental stewardship led him to the University of Washington’s Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program and its framework of Urban Ecological Design and Planning. With a wealth of knowledge in construction administration, irrigation, and project management, Luke is a resourceful mentor who assists our range of studios and offices. Outside of work, you can find Luke making homemade pizza with his kids, running along the Comal River, and wandering through art museums, parks, and libraries!

When asked what excited him most about joining KW, Micah shared “I have always had a strong passion for landscape construction and design. I am excited about bringing my experience to the team and observing the process through a different perspective.” When he’s not on a project site or in the office, Micah can be found enjoying family time with his wife and four children, fishing, hunting, cheering on the Texas Longhorns, or attending live music concerts!
