  • The Oleanders at Broadway | Galveston, TX KW had the honor of designing the outdoor landscape for this $120M, 11-acre mixed-income housing development, which sets a new standard for sustainable, resilient design on Galveston’s barrier island. Spanning five city blocks, it features 348 residential units and an innovative stormwater system that captures 100% of runoff, preventing flooding and protecting local waterways. Outdoor amenities like a pool, park, and playground foster community connection while integrated green infrastructure enhances local ecosystems. They explored native plantings, admired stunning water features inspired by Texas' Pedernales Falls, and wrapped up the day with some fun playing in the Yanaguana Garden.
