For over 40 years, Sika Kwik Bond Polymers has been a leader in bridge deck preservation as well as new construction. Our Polyester Polymer Concrete (PPC-1121) bridge deck overlay has a 30+ year proven service life, 0 coulombs permeability and 2-hour traffic return even in the cold. "The Kwik-Bond PPC–1121 polyester polymer concrete overlay system, which was immediately preceded by a HMWM treatment of the surface, was applied to the test panels after 3 million load cycles. This treatment completely obscured the cracks, stiffened the test panels by approximately 50 to 84 percent, effectively limited top surface cracking, and slowed bottom cracking during the final 1 million load applications... the significant initial jump and continuity of the stiffness during the final 1 million load applications is predominantly from the PPC–1121 polymer concrete overlay." ????
