About Us. My name is Jon Walton and I started KW Crafted Solutions last October. We are a Direct to Film (DTF) printing company (exactly what you'd find if you have ever bought a sports jersey with names/numbers/logos on them). We do everything in house to ensure quality control and we are based in Columbus, OH. How to DTF print. 1. Set your heat press to 315 F and set the timer to 15 seconds. 2. Pre-press your shirt to get all the wrinkles out. 3. place your DTF onto the shirt (make sure ink side on facing the shirt, if you feel ridges it means the ink side is facing up which is a no go) 4. Use the teflon sheet to protect the film from overheating and sticking to the top of the heat press 5. Depending on if you have a cold or hot peel (do as recommended by your DTF provider). I have a cold peel so I'll let it sit for 1-2 minutes or until the print and shirt are no longer warm 6. Peel and pray everything was centered correctly 7. Using the transfer you just peeled, go in for a second press to ensure the print is fully adhered to the shirt
