    We thought it was time high speed internet got a little more friendly, so creating Ollie alongside our friends over at Underline made a lot of sense. Fun, optimistic, and inviting — literally everything the big ISPs aren't. Can't wait till Underline's brand of friendly neighborhood gigabit fiber internet is in every neighborhood (including ours).

    Looks like Ollie has decided to leave the comforts of his Colorado Springs home to say "hello!" to all his new internet pals.     Since we struck out on our own, a core part of KUYA’s mission has always been to use our creativity for causes we believe in. And as parents, the gun violence epidemic in the US has weighed heavily on us. When our friend and frequent collaborator, Robert Calabro asked us to help him bring his idea AR15 & Under to life, the need to answer the call came easy. What came harder was creating something meaningful while continually facing the horrible reality of assault weapons head-on. So with great pride, we’re excited to announce?D&AD?has honored our work with our studio’s first-ever Graphite Pencil. With this, it’s our hope AR15 & Under’s message spreads even further, encouraging lawmakers to make the safety of future generations a priority and finally put common sense gun laws in place. #banassaultweapons #creativity #design #nonprofitcampaign

    At KUYA, we love art and we love design. But we also know to create a brand story worth telling, you need an incredible mind for copy to give dimension to something that goes beyond a pretty picture. So we’re grateful to team up with someone like Robert Calabro, who has spearheaded the art of wordsmithing alongside of us. And today, we’re beyond excited to see our collaboration has been recognized with 2 shortlist nods from the?D&AD?Awards. One for our AR15 & Under campaign for Change the Ref (Writing for Design: Integrated) and our recent Brand Refresh project for the folks at Underline (Writing for Design: Brand Voice). And of course, Rob didn’t go at it alone. His words were brought to life by incredible visual artists and designers like?Margaret Royena,?Samara S.,?Wynn, and?Cameron McManus. We’re hoping to be in the final group of winners being announced this Wednesday, May 22nd. ???? But whether or not we walk away with a D&AD Pencil, this means so much to our little shop and lets us know we’re onto something. #brandidentity #advertising #awards
