The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) recently held both Pathfinder and Fellows Fall Meetings in Washington, D.C. Fayetteville litigation associate Colette Brashears attended the two-day Pathfinder meeting, which included sessions and conversations about the conscious evolution from being an early career associate to being a manager and leader and prioritizing tasks. Little Rock partner Chase Waters was among 15 attorneys providing pro bono to entrepreneurs and small businesses at the Entrepreneurial Law Project, or ELP, a collaboration between the University of Arkansas School of Law and the U of A Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. “The ELP provides a great opportunity for those in the early-stage venture phase to connect with local Arkansas attorneys from the best law firms in Arkansas at a no-cost assessment of their current legal needs and next steps as it relates to entity formation, tax planning, employees, and early-stage IP planning,” said Chase, who specializes in tax law.
