We're taking a big step beyond just using AI for text-to-speech and IVR support. Kustomer is the first customer service provider to offer true, AI-powered conversational assistance on Voice natively in our platform without a third-party integration. There are a lot of customer service providers promising AI Agents that can answer the phone, but none that offer what we do. See how it works:

With the launch of AI Agents across many different customer service technology platforms, it’s important to understand how they work before you decide how you want to implement them for your CX team. Some of the key questions CX professionals are asking with the rise of this new technology are: - Why do I need more than one AI Agent? - What are the benefits to having more AI Agents? - Why do I need a team of AI Agents? Great insights from our very own Douglas Hanna!
The latest episode of Best Manager Ever is a great listen for leaders who want to build more skill and comfort in “the people stuff”, even if they don’t see it as a natural strength. Douglas Hanna shares his own leadership journey from Grafana Labs, Zendesk, and now Kustomer -- and how he turned people skills into one of his superpowers. Here's a preview of the tactics that Doug recommends for others to replicate his success: ? Understand your direct reports’ personal motivations and ambitions ??Clarify other people's context and remit in the org, and keep that in mind? ??Ask how people like to work, and share your own preferences ??Build common language and tools to build compatibility, especially when preferences diverge ??Look at work relationships as a partnership, with all team members on the same side of the table If you know a leader who views the "people stuff" as extra, fluffy, or separate from the business, send them this episode :) Doug says the people work became 98% of the job as he became more senior and the company scaled around him, and makes a compelling case for why this work is important to winning as a company. --- ?? You can listen to the show wherever you get podcasts, and I’ll link this episode in the comments.? --- ?? Best Manager Ever is a production of Fort Light and Now It's Hear. CX leaders: how are you preparing your teams for customer outreach on social media for #BFCM?

Check out the insights from our COO on the Best Manager Ever podcast!
Excited to share insights and wisdom from Douglas Hanna on this week’s episode of Best Manager Ever! Doug is an operational powerhouse. He spent the past 5+ years scaling Grafana Labs from 70 to over 1000 employees, and is now back at it as the President and COO of Kustomer. ?? Doug’s direct reports describe him as the most pragmatic and rigorous leader they’ve ever worked with. They remember him for his intensity, aptitude, and speed –- and are also quick to describe him as the most connecting and thoughtful leader they’ve ever reported to.? We cover a LOT of useful tips in this episode, but here are some of my fav takeaways about how ambitious startup leaders should approach their work: 1?? Focus less on searching for a silver bullet solution or playbook, and more on experimenting, collecting data, and calibrating to whatever works best for you? 2?? Don’t feel the need to be an expert in every function you're leading, but have the confidence to hire exceptional people around you?and then give them context and guidance about the company 3?? Invest in skip levels as the team grows. Set clear expectations for skip levels and empower project teams to break out from traditional reporting lines as needed I’d love to hear your feedback and takeaways, so please reach out or join the conversation in the comments. Big thanks to Doug’s direct reports for the great conversations and feedback about working with him: Roshni Sondhi, Divy Goel, Brian Hull, and Graham Moreno. And thanks Kathleen Estreich for introducing me to Doug! ??
