How did Kursza grow their vertical strategy to 10+ clients month over month in such a short amount of time? Well it's important to understand how Kursza got started back in 2018. Three co-founders Joseph Larkin, James Winterhalter, and Chris "Yoder" Schroeder were touring creatives with various artists and found a lot of success. They had a lot of creators looking to tour and a lot of artists looking for creatives to tour with. They came together to start the company and wanted to help put other creators on. Initially, Kursza's tagline was "Born on tour" which they built up resulting in touring with over 100 artists since inception. They have evolved the company in many ways now working with CPG brands, B2B companies, tech companies, as well as sports leagues and teams.
They have continued to evolve with the times helping artists stay relevant and ahead, one of those ways is Kursza's vertical strategy. Kursza continues to tour with around 20 artists month over month and helping them with vertical strategy since they were already out on the road with them already has been a natural fit. Most of the business came from existing clients, and the other business came from word of mouth from artists talking to others artists and referring Kursza.
They other key piece was a key partnership with Daniel Bennett, owner of DX Creative. Together Daniel and Joe have build this category.
So that's how Kursza has been able to grow this category so fast and as their management team, it's been a fun vertical to watch unfold and provide value for their clients.
