A supermarket CEO recently made waves by saying, “We won’t be able to source certain things.” And honestly? This is a wake-up call for all of us in food and beverage. We’re seeing it everywhere—supply chain issues, rising costs, and shifting consumer demands. But here’s the thing: these challenges can be opportunities in disguise. What we find most exciting? ? Helping restaurant owners navigate these tough waters without sacrificing their passion. ? Watching entrepreneurs pivot and turn a curveball into their next big success. The right insight at the right time can change everything for a business. And it’s these moments that make us excited about what’s ahead. So tell us—how are you navigating the supply chain challenges in your business right now? P.S. To everyone who’s adapting, growing, and thriving through these changes—you’re the reason we're in this industry. ?? #RetailInnovation #AdaptingToChange #FoodIndustryInsights #ScalingWithSoul https://lnkd.in/ePn2A6Zz

  • ?Dine Brands' recent launch of the first dual-branded Applebee's and IHOP restaurant in Seguin, Texas, exemplifies an innovative approach to maximizing space utilization across different dayparts. By combining two distinct dining experiences under one roof, this model leverages IHOP's breakfast popularity and Applebee's lunch and dinner appeal to ensure consistent customer flow throughout the day. This strategy not only enhances operational efficiency through shared kitchens and cross-trained staff but also offers guests a diverse menu selection at any time. ??We'd love to hear your thoughts: Have you considered or implemented dual-branding or shared space strategies in your business? What challenges and successes have you encountered? https://lnkd.in/ekHQ6Z7q

  • ??At Women in Restaurants, we believe in one thing above all: continuous learning leads to smarter growth. This week, Laurel R. Elliott and ??Edie Weintraub -Retail Restaurant Real Estate sat down with industry experts to unpack the struggles facing emerging food and beverage brands—scaling, funding, and the disappearing safety nets for CPG startups. The landscape is shifting fast, and smaller brands are struggling to find their footing. So, what did we do? We listened. We learned. We connected. We explored new capital-raising strategies, fractional CFO support, and ways to help businesses secure funding and navigate investor conversations. ??Our biggest takeaway? Your brand doesn’t have to do this alone. Growth happens when the right minds come together. If you’re feeling the squeeze of funding challenges or looking for expert insights, let’s talk. What’s your biggest business challenge right now? Let's open the dialogue and find the answers together!?? #FoodIndustry #EmergingBrands #WomenInBusiness #wircircle #ScalingUp
