A story preserved — Kimpton Santo embraces San Antonio’s influential legacy, threading the city's rich history throughout the property. The textile arts are a deep part of San Antonio's history, reflecting the blend of cultures and traditions while celebrating identity and storytelling. Our interior designers drew inspiration from this heritage, looking to the intricate handcrafted weavings of German artist Doerte Weber. A self-taught weaver, Doerte transforms moments into connections. Her contribution to the hotel speaks to its history, place and purpose. Rooted in the overarching narrative, The Joy of Expression, Edes welcomes patrons with a place inspired by the forms and lines of mosaic art — establishing a bold and structured foundation. Cura, the art gallery, follows, drawing guests into the artistic heart of Edes, where layered textures and wabi-sabi-inspired contrasts invite exploration. Luminous exterior signage is punctuated with a vibrant pop of color to extend a warm welcome, while sleek black-and-white wayfinding elements guide visitors through timber-lined interiors. Building on this evolution, Véra, a boutique restaurant and bar, emerges as a jubilant expression of color and refinement, mirroring the natural metamorphosis of wine grapes during veraison, symbolizing transformation and celebration. Just in time for golf season, our newest concept, Boilerhouse Prime, is set to open Spring 2025 as part of the Pete Dye Clubhouse on the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana. Named after the Purdue Boilermakers, this American Steakhouse will feature a refined, club-inspired design, including a bar lounge, a two-story wine wall, and a seasonal terrace. The menu will feature the best cuts from Brush Creek Ranch and premium seafood, along with a curated selection of classic cocktails, rare wines, and exclusive bourbons.
