Nexstar is happy to announce that 25 of its owned and operated television stations have earned a total of 35 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA). Among the winners were KGET-TV 17 in Bakersfield and NewsChannel 9 WSYR in Syracuse who were honored for “Overall Excellence.” KGET-TV also earned awards for “Newscast,” “Excellence in Writing,” and “Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.” Other honors achieved by our stations include awards in the following categories: “Excellence in Writing,” “Investigative Reporting,” “Newscast,” “Digital,” “Excellence in Innovation,” “Feature Reporting,” “News Documentary,” and “News Series.” A full listing of Nexstar's winners can be found here: https://lnkd.in/g_9sruNV Congratulations to our stations, our employees, and thank you RTDNA for the recognition.
