The mission of the School of Accountancy (SOA) at Kennesaw State University is (1) to provide a high quality accounting education to a diverse student group, preparing successful accounting professionals and future leaders in local, national , and global organizations; and (2) to influence the accounting profession through relevant research and professional engagement. We will achieve these goals by promoting teaching and research excellence, delivering innovative undergraduate and graduate programs, and fostering an ethical environment of intellectual curiosity, innovation, and collegiality. Our department offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs in accounting that are separately accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB - International). AACSB - International accreditation represents the SOA's achievement to continusously meet a rigorous set of quality accounting standards.

Nichols Cauley is seeking students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting with proven leadership skills to attend our 2025 Summer Leadership Program! Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior accounting students with a minimum GPA of 3.2 are encouraged to apply. Our 2025 program will be held on May 12th-13th in Alpharetta at the Hotel at Avalon, featuring a networking event at Fairway Social, and the option of visiting either our Kennesaw or Peachtree Corners offices.
