His dedication has been instrumental in projects such as Construction Management for the C Street Enhancements Project with the City of Galt; Various well projects for the City of Riverbank; Pump Station Improvements for Twitchell Island and Reclamation District 800; and Flood Safety Response Plan Project to construct a seepage berm for Reclamation District 2091. We had a great time at the 2024 Floodplain Management Association Conference in Henderson, Nevada! The event featured panels relating to flood control, workshops, networking opportunities, and social hours. KSN’s GIS team was thrilled to attend the 2024 Esri User Conference in San Diego this July! For KSN’s GIS Manager Mo Tangestani who’s been attending since 2000, the conference was as energizing as it was for first-time attendee, and GIS Analyst, J. Diego Ramirez. Our team engaged in technical workshops and seminars, diving into the latest tools and enhancements with ArcGIS Pro and online mapping. The pair focused on sessions that align with KSN’s mission of delivering top-tier flood mapping and asset management solutions. The exposure to real-world applications and the new connections formed, inspired fresh and innovative ideas to our GIS team. Welcome to the team, Katelynn Cramer! Katelynn joins KSN as a recent civil engineering graduate from the University of the Pacific. She also brings valuable experience from her time serving as a meteorologist with the United States Air Force, and as an intern with the Modesto Irrigation District. While at the District, Katelynn worked on projects related to water distribution and irrigation systems, gaining hands-on experience with the challenges and solutions often affiliated with water management. Her deep understanding of weather patterns and climate, combined with her passion for sustainable infrastructure, water management, and environmental conservation, positions her to help develop resilient and sustainable solutions for our communities. Outside of work, Katelynn enjoys spending time with her family, snowboarding, traveling, and tackling DIY household projects.
