Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Superintendent to oversee and manage bridge and structural projects in the heavy highway construction industry. This leadership role requires extensive experience in bridge construction, scheduling, crew management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and field crews to deliver projects on time and within budget. ? Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of bridge construction, from site preparation to completion Manage and lead field crews, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and productivity Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and DOT requirements Review and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications Coordinate material deliveries, equipment use, and job site logistics Troubleshoot job site issues and implement solutions to maintain progress Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety policies ? Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of concrete structures, formwork, rebar, and structural steel Experience with DOT projects and industry regulations Ability to lead multiple crews and manage large-scale projects Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed ? Position Overview: We are looking for Bridge Carpenters/Skilled Laborers to join our team in heavy highway construction. The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge and structural concrete work, including formwork, rebar placement, and concrete finishing. This role requires physical endurance, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment on PennDOT highway and bridge projects. Responsibilities: Construct and install formwork, falsework, and shoring for concrete bridge structures Measure, cut, and assemble lumber, plywood, and prefabricated forms Place and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) according to specifications Pour, spread, and finish concrete for bridge decks, footings, and abutments Operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA and PennDOT regulations Assist in setting structural components such as girders and precast panels Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in bridge carpentry or heavy highway construction Knowledge of formwork systems (e.g., Symons, Peri, EFCO) and rebar placement Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans Familiarity with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques Willingness to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
