While reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn can show initiative, it’s important to remember that some recruiters may might find it overwhelming, especially if they manage a high volume of applications. DO NOT DO THIS! Unless you've checked if the recruiter encourages such contact on their profile before reaching out. Focus on conveying the right message in your resume, have a strong personal brand, and looking for folks in your network who can legitimately refer you to the open position.
