Last week, we celebrated the completion of the Newhouse Building Replacement, a significant addition to Washington’s Capitol Campus.
The project pays homage to the campus’s neo-classical architectural heritage while integrating modern design and sustainable practices. Designed to honor its 90-year history, the Newhouse Building Replacement incorporates contemporary functionality, including senate suites, public meeting rooms, classrooms for civic education, and flexible spaces to support collaboration and community use. Thank you to the many stakeholders, preservationists, and community members whose input shaped this project and our project team and client for bringing it to fruition.
