Wishing for summer already— A fun project to work on with the City of Wayzata! #KABuilds
Our team at CIVITAS INC was honored to hear from the American Public Works Association, Minnesota Chapter, that the Panoway on Wayzata Bay has received the 2024 APWA-MN Project of the Year Award in the Structures category. Each year, this award program recognizes excellence in public works, and the Structures category specifically honors outstanding municipal buildings, parks and bridges in Minnesota. Lake Minnetonka is cherished as one of the state’s most important natural resources, and we’ve cherished the opportunity to help restore the connection between the City of Wayzata and the lake by rebuilding natural habitats, boardwalks, docks, piers and plazas along the shoreline. The second phase of this long-term project—the 1,000’ Lakewalk—opened earlier this year, drawing scores of visitors and residents alike to enjoy the water in new ways.
