Kraus-Anderson volunteers took part in Neighborhood House's?Fresh Produce Distribution?March 12! Neighborhood House works to assist and be a welcoming presence for refugees, immigrants and others in transition or crisis.?Volunteers were part of the KA Has Heart program, which provides weekday volunteer opportunities to KA employees.

In the latest episode of KA's podcast, Laurisa speaks with Lori Barr, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Raise the Barr, and KA Project Manager Renae McQullian. Lori and her son Anthony, a former defenseman for the Minnesota Vikings and 4X NFL Pro-Bowler, founded the organization in 2016. The nonprofit aims to help single parents break down the social and economic barriers that come with pursuing higher education. In just a couple hours, over 1,948 pounds of fruits and veggies were distributed to 78 households in the community — that’s about 25 pounds per household! #kahasheart

Fire stations are critical to the safety and well-being of our communities, and at Kraus-Anderson, we take great pride in building facilities that support first responders in their essential work. We have had the privilege of delivering fire stations for communities across the region, a few recent projects include Waconia, Minnetonka, Maplewood, Minneapolis, and Burnsville. Each of these projects was designed and built to enhance emergency response times, improve firefighter safety, and serve the public for years to come. Our work continues with several new fire stations that will be starting in the Cities of Otsego, Victoria, and Brooklyn Park. These projects are tailored to meet the evolving needs of their respective departments, incorporating modern design, and enhanced training spaces. We are excited to announce that Reiling will be doing the carpentry scope for East Ridge School as part of an upcoming expansion project.
